Start with the route and cargo
Provide the collection point, destination country and city, preferred delivery arrangement, number of items, weight, dimensions and contents. Also explain whether the sender and recipient can use an airport service or require a door option.
Country rules differ
Import controls, documentation, duties, taxes, inspections and prohibited goods vary by destination. The sender is responsible for giving accurate information. Ask what documents are needed and obtain written confirmation of what the quotation includes.
No worldwide coverage guarantee, customs-clearance service, insurance, tracking facility or fixed transit time is advertised. If any of those features matters to the shipment, ask for specific written confirmation before booking.
